Hello world!  My name is Jeff Arnett and as a requirement for my Principles of Distance Education course, I created this blog….though I am not really sure at this time where the blog will take me!

I am from a small town in Eastern Kentucky.  I’ve been a high school chemistry teacher for 18 years, and am also actively involved in technology as my schools Technology Intregration Specialist.  I have a Master’s Degree in Science Education, a Rank I in School Administration and, hopefully at the end of June 2008, will have earned a second Master’s Degree in Education Technology.

In my spare time [what spare time?] I am an avid cook, photographer and enjoy studying organ.  My wife and I have no children, so we like to spend time traveling, collecting art and glass, and enjoy going off the beaten path to discover a little known shop or diner.
